Middletown Man Accused Of Punching Girl, 11, In Stomach: Report
The man was arrested over the weekend.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown man is accused of punching an 11-year-old girl in the stomach during a domestic dispute, according to the Hartford Courant.
The Courant reports Amilcar Lopez, 24, of Grand Street, was arrested over the weekend after police responded to a report of an emotionally disturbed person threatening family members. (To sign up for Middletown breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
The young girl was still crying from the pain when the officer arrived, according to the Courant. Lopez told police he didn’t do anything wrong.
