Middletown Man Charged In Child Sexual Assault Case In Vernon
A warrant has been served to a Middletown man in a child sexual assault case in Vernon.

VERNON/MIDDLETOWN, CT — A 24-year-old man with a Middletown address is accused of sexually assaulting a child in Vernon.
On Friday, Armondo Alex Montez was taken into custody in Middletown by Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services police, according to an arrest report. Montez has a listed Middletown address.
He was transferred to Vernon and charged on a warrant with first-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with someone younger than 16, fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child, according to an arrest report. Montez was held over the weekend on a $50,000 bond and was to appear in Rockville Superior Court Monday, according to an arrest report.
