Middletown Man Chokes Woman in Shower: Police

A 22-year-old Middletown man was arrested after allegedly punching a woman repeatedly and choking her as she was taking a shower.

Aaron Davis reportedly went to a Bailey Road residence he was told not to go to by police and allegedly attacked a woman he heard talking to 911 personnel, according to the Middletown Press.

The day after the alleged attack — July 12 — police said Davis ran from officers before being found in the nearby woods.

The East Lake Drive resident reportedly told police the victim was not interested in pressing charges against him. Davis was arrested on the following charges:

• Robbery in the third degree
• Felony home invasion
• Larceny in the second degree
• Strangulation in the second degree
• Interfering with an officer
• Breach of peace
