Video: Middletown PD Need Help Identifying Evading Vehicle

The car struck an unoccupied vehicle and subsequently fled.

Middletown Police are seeking the public’s help identifying the owner/operator of an evading vehicle.

The incident occurred on Dec. 16 just after 9:30 pm.

According to police, the vehicle struck an unoccupied vehicle parked in a stall on Main Street (in front of the St. Vincent De Paul Soup Kitchen) in Middletown’s north end between Grand Street and Liberty Street. The evading vehicle was traveling southbound on Main Street when the collision occurred. A witness saw the vehicle make a right hand turn onto Liberty Street after the accident.

Video surveillance captures what appears to be a silver colored Honda Civic fleeing west on Liberty Street. The evading vehicle has heavy front end damage to the right side.
