Middletown Police Dog Team Receives Major State Accolade
A police dog team from Middletown has been awarded the Stephen Davis Handler of the Year award.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — On Thursday morning, during the 241st Connecticut State Police K9 Patrol Dog Graduation Ceremony, Middletown officer Jared White and police dog Sonny were awarded the Stephen Davis Handler of the Year award.
The Stephen Davis Handler of the Year is a prestigious award that is presented by the Connecticut State Police K9 Unit to three active handlers.
Awards are given based on criteria like the handler's experience, work ethic, motivation, commitment, dedication and quality of work.
