Middletown Police Officer 'Caught' Helping Elderly Lady Cross The Street
A somewhat weathered cliche came to life in Middletown Tuesday, courtesy of a helpful police officer.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The old adage about helping elderly ladies across the street has become a bit of a cliche these days.
But it was for real in Middletown Tuesday.
"Sometimes the moments that matter most are the ones when you think nobody is watching," police said.

Well one resident was, who stopped at a crosswalk as a police officer came to the rescue.
Officer Raeshaun Finney took a few extra seconds from a detail on Main Street to help an elderly resident safely cross the street. Police posted the image in social media after having it shared by the resident.
