Middletown Resident Earns NE-10 Conference Honor
The Southern Connecticut State University freshman was named the NE-10 Men's Rookie of the Week.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown’s Tahj Mitchell-Westberry, a freshman on the Southern Connecticut State University men’s swimming and diving team received conference honors, along with junior Tyler Vander Vos of South Windsor, for last week’s efforts.
Mitchell-Westberry was tabbed as the NE-10 Men's Rookie of The Week as he notched two first place finished in the three-meter and one-meter dive. He scored 189.60 in the one-meter dive and 194.75 in the three-meter dive.
Vander Vos was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll after he took home first place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.47 as well as helped the Owls 200 medley relay team claim a first place finish.

The Owls are back in action on Jan. 19. to host Saint Rose in Hutchinson Natatorium.
