About Neat
“Many of the problems facing the North End are not unusual for urban neighborhoods but that doesn’t mean that the neighborhood should be passive,” the NEAT website notes in its “About” section. “If the North End neighborhood is to be a healthy neighborhood it must have good housing for its residents, standards of public safety that encourage children and families to feel safe and thrive, a Main Street that has vitality, and a population of residents and business owners who work collaboratively and actively to ensure that the quality of life on Main Street, above Main Street, and behind Main Street is positive.”
Joey Logano
Joey Logano, 24, is a NASCAR driver. He began racing at a young age in Connecticut.
“Last year was the best year of Logano’s ascendant NASCAR career — he set personal bests with five wins, 16 top-five finishes and 22 top-ten finishes, and was in the hunt for the Sprint Cup Championship until his No. 22 slipped off a jack during a pit stop with only 17 laps remaining in the final race, putting him 4th overall for the title,” Connecticut Magazine wrote.
