Middletown Senior Sets State Record In Victory
It was a record-setting night for a Middletown senior in the football team's 51-20 victory over Platt on Friday.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown senior Mike Aresco kicked his way into the record books during the Blue Dragons’ 51-20 victory over Platt-Meriden on Friday night.
Aresco broke a state field goal record with his successful 44-yard kick in the third quarter of Friday night’s game. He now holds the state record for most career field goals with 22, according to Middletown Athletics on Twitter.
Middletown improved to 9-0 with the win.
