Middletown Student Receives Athletic Scholarship

Nick Wilson of Middletown signed to play college football.

Cheshire Academy senior Nick Wilson of Middletown has awarded a scholarship to play college football at Pace University in Westchester County, New York. Wilson excelled in football for two years at the Academy and had 120 tackles in those two seasons. As senior he played both defense and offense and as a junior he was a defensive lineman.

Wilson becomes one of 12 student athletes from Cheshire Academy who were signed this year to play college football. “It shows our program is just continuing to be strong,” said head football coach David Dykeman. “Nick really achieved his ultimate goal to play college football at a great school,” he added. Wilson will be a business major in the Lubin School of Business at Pace.
His parents are Dana and Tracey Wilson of Middletown.
