Middletown Will Have A New Restaurant At 584 Main St.

Acme Burger is a California-based restaurant focused on being a family friendly restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Acme Burger Connecticut owner and first franchisee Christian Schunmann grew up in Wallingford with company co-owner and friend Todd Kniess, who founded the West Coast business with his wife in 2019.

Christian Schunmann with his wife and their high school-age daughter will be running the restaurant in Middletown. Acme's menu includes fried chicken, turkey and plant-based Beyond burgers, pulled pork, Ahi tuna, hot dogs and Strauss Family Creamery organic soft-serve ice cream and gluten-free options.
