Middletown Woman Fatally Struck By Car On Route 9

A Middletown woman has been identified as the pedestrian who was killed early Wednesday morning on Route 9 in Berlin.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown woman was killed after being struck by a car on Route 9 early Wednesday morning in Berlin. Marie Ahern, 54, of Middletown, was identified by Connecticut State Police Friday as the pedestrian who was fatally struck on Route 9 South near Exit 23 in Berlin on Oct. 2.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident, which occurred at about 5:15 a.m. on Oct. 2.
