
Have you wondered what mindfulness is all about? Mindfulness is about directing our thoughts to the present moment…on one specific thing…on purpose. Some of the emotional, physical, and spiritual benefits to this practice can include decreased stress, anxiety, and depression and increased resilience, calm, and concentration. This class will introduce you to the practice of mindful awareness. You will experience some fun and simple methods to calm your mind and body. This practice is great for managing anxiety and stress!
For Ages 14+
Dates: Tuesdays November 20 and/or December 12 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at 61 Durant Terrace Second Floor Multi Purpose Room. Fee: $15 resident each class, $18 nonresident each class. Instructor : Vanessa Parker
