MxCC Wins "Best College" Readers' Choice Award

Middlesex Community College was voted the BEST COLLEGE by the Meriden Record-Journal Readers' Choice Awards, topping the other finalists, Quinnipiac University and Southern Connecticut State University, for the honor.

The 16th annual competition began in August, and the winners were announced at a festive red carpet event at the Aqua Turf in Southington on October 10, 2018. Accepting the award were Interim CEO Steven Minkler, and staff members Kim Hogan, Corey Martell, Victoria Seidl, Ricky Barrett, and Valerie Cooper.

The Middlesex Meriden campus is located in a special wing of Platt High School, offering afternoon and evening college courses in subjects ranging from English, math, computer science, early childhood education, history, human services, sociology, and more. For details, visit the MxCC website.
