MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Middletown Town Clerk’s office is reducing the hours it is open to the public in an effort to give staff time to process an expected influx of absentee ballots due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Town Clerk’s office is closed to the public at 12 noon daily to “process absentee ballots to ensure a smooth voting process,” officials wrote in a news release.
