New Officers Sworn In To Middletown Police Department

The Middletown Police Department recently welcomed three new officers to the force.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Middletown Police Department recently welcomed three new officers to the force. O’Brian D. Sinclair, Paige Wade-Willoughby and Philip P. Thomas were all sworn in last Friday. Read more from the Middletown Police Department below:

O’Brian D. Sinclair grew up in Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School. O’Brian was a stand-out on both the football team and the track team earning numerous All-State, All-Conference and All-New England accolades.

O’Brian attended college at Middlesex Community College, American International College and Central Connecticut State University. O’Brian graduated from CCSU in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology. While attending college; O’Brian played football for both American International College and Central CT State University.

While in college; O’Brian completed a 120-hour internship with the Middletown Police Department in the detective division.

Paige Wade-Willoughby grew up in Middletown. She graduated from Mercy High School in 2011.

After high school; Paige attended the University of New Haven. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice & a certificate in Law Enforcement Science in 2015. While in college; Paige completed an internship with the CT Juvenile Probation Office in Middletown.

Paige has been employed as a security Guard at the Russell Library since 2016.

Philip P. Thomas grew up in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Sheep Head’s Bay High School in 1994.

Philip attended American International College in Springfield, MA after high school. Philip earned his Bachelor’s Degree in General Business with a minor in Psychology in 1998.

Philip has been employed at the Northwest Village School (Wheeler Clinic) in Plainville since 2008 where he works closely with students with special service needs.
