New Physical Therapy Clinic Celebrates Opening In Middletown

The clinic will celebrate its grand opening in Middletown with a ribbon-cutting event, with food and raffle prizes, on Tuesday.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers (PTSMC) will officially celebrate its grand opening in Middletown with a ribbon-cutting event on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The event will take place at PTSMC’s new state-of-the-art facility, located at 134 Main Street Extension #100, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will have food catered by Middletown caterer Silvana’s, as well as drinks, raffle prizes, and an opportunity to meet Partner and Director Michael Antunes and tour the clinic, according to a press release.

Antunes, a Middlefield resident who had been working as a physical therapist at PTSMC’s Watertown location, has been seeing patients at the Middletown location since it opened for business in May. Though it has only been a few months, he already feels like he has made strong, meaningful connections with local residents and organizations. “Middletown is a tight-knit community that takes care of its own, so it feels great to be welcomed so warmly by so many new patients and other community members,” Antunes said. “I’m excited to welcome friends, family members, co-workers, community leaders and patients new and old into the clinic to celebrate our new home.” Read more from the press release below:
