New Youth Sports at the Middlesex YMCA Head Outside for Spring

Come check out all of our new sports being offered outside this Spring! The Middlesex YMCA is so much more than just a gym!

Now that the snow is melting the temperatures are rising, we’re heading out to Camp Ingersoll for our Spring 2 Sports starting April 13th! This session, we’re offering new classes and new days and times, including Fishing Fun (10-14 yrs or any age with an adult) on Tuesdays, Pee Wee Basketball (4-5 yrs) on Thursdays, and Parent and Me T-ball (3 yrs), Pee Wee T-ball (4-5 yrs), and Archery (7-10 yrs) on Saturdays at Camp Ingersoll. Judo will still be held at the Middlesex Y on Saturdays.

Our Sundays offer a variety of dance classes at the Middlesex YMCA: Dance with Me (18 mths and up), Pre-Ballet (2.5 - 4 yrs), and Ballet (4 - 8yrs)! Our dance classes are designed to create an interest in dance by teaching the basic steps to a variety of styles while being fun and engaging.

Please check out all our offerings along with specific class information in our Spring Brochure.

We understand that there are many different options and classes in which your child can participate. At the Y, we strive to provide quality instruction to children and teens, and feel our fun and coordinated approach creates a perfect introduction for all of our participants. We believe instruction at this age should focus on basic skills and teaching how to interact with peers while having fun and being active. Children in our classes are always involved and engaged in activities, they make new friends, and they build confidence and self esteem all while having fun in a supportive and active environment.

Please visit the Middlesex YMCA for more information about Y Programs, or email Tracy Seigle, Assistant Youth and Camp Ingersoll Director, at tseigle@midymca.org.
