Navaiah Fulk, 18, of Middletown, daughter of Larry Gadlin and Kailani (Dudley) Gadlin, passed peacefully on Monday April 15, 2019 at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Hartford. She was born in Farmington, and was a Senior at Middletown High School. In addition to her parents, Navaiah is survived by her sisters, Gabrielle Gadlin, Rebecca Gadlin and brother Deral Wallace; her paternal Grandmother Rebecca Gadlin, and the late L.C. Gadlin, maternal grandmother Dana Ugbinada, maternal Grandfather Willis Dudley Jr. maternal aunt Lehua Nani Dudley and along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Navaiah's 18 years of life was filled with many hardships and struggles, but today we are celebrating her life. She took pride in many things always focusing on family first. Her 13 years of being a Girl Scout took her on adventures she treasured always. Hole in the Wall Gang camp was where she found the most joy and could get away from her daily routine of endless medical realities. Her smile filled the nursery of Fellowship church where she helped in various roles as a young teenager. She was always willing to help with community organizations involving young children. She was an arts and crafts fanatic and had a very creative mind. The legacy that she built in the halls and rooms of Connecticut Children's Medical Center and Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC will be carried on for years and decades to come.
