Obituary: Alphonse S. Esposito, Sr., 80, of Middletown

Alphonse S. Esposito, Sr., 80, of Middletown beloved husband of Betty Madore- Esposito and the late Rita (Gallagher) Esposito, died Saturday September 3, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in New Haven, the son of the late Domenico and Caroline (Angellsi) Esposito.

Prior to his retirement, Alphonse was employed as an equipment operator with Southern CT Gas Company.

Besides his wife Betty, Alphonse is survived by a daughter, Caroline and Rocky Kopylec of Meriden, three sons, Dominic Esposito of Florida, Michael and Valerie Esposito of New York and Alphonse and Yvonne Esposito Jr. of Wallingford, a daughter-in-law, Anne Esposito, step-sons, Robert Jr., Gilbert, Vincent Sr., Raymond and Joey Madore, step-daughters, Velvet Fuoco and Millicent Becker, along with many grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Paul Esposito of Meriden, and a grandson. A special thanks to Kate Brencher for her care and compassion.
