Obituary: Edward J. Myjak, 80, of Middletown

Ed was a veteran serving with the U.S. Navy. He retired after 43 years as a Tool and Die maker from Pratt & Whitney.

Edward J. Myjak, 80, of Middletown, beloved husband of Mary Ann (Bogdan) Myjak, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his home. He was born in Middletown, son of the late Joseph and Alice (Borent) Myjak. Ed was a veteran serving with the U.S. Navy. He retired after 43 years as a Tool and Die maker from Pratt & Whitney. Ed was Scout Master and Troop Leader of Troop 41 and was awarded the St. George Award and the Good Samaritan Award.

Besides his wife Mary Ann, Ed is survived by his son, Robert Myjak and his wife Leslie of FL, sister, Sam Elizabeth Darley and her husband Dwayne of FL, grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Michaela, A. Jay and Bethany. He was predeceased by his son, Sgt. David Myjak and brother, Daniel Myjak.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Nov. 8th) at 9:15 a.m. from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Pius X Church, Middletown. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
