Obituary: Gerard L. ‘Gerry’ Gadbois, 90, of Middletown
Gerry was a veteran during the Korean War serving as a Paratrooper with the U.S. Army. He also worked at Pratt & Whitney.

Gerard L. “Gerry” Gadbois, 90, of Middletown, husband of Ange (Poulin) Gadbois, died Tuesday October 25, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Biddeford, ME, one of seventeen children of Wilfred and Ubaldine (Janelle) Gadbois. Gerry was a veteran during the Korean War serving as a Paratrooper with the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford. He enjoyed flying back in his earlier years and gardening.

In addition to his wife Ange, Gerry is survived by his son, Donald Gadbois and his wife Penny of Colchester; daughter, Linda Proctor and her husband Alan of Meriden; brother, Phil Gadbois and his wife Claudette of Biddeford, ME; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special dog, Sierra.

Calling hours will be held on Friday (Oct. 28th) from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at the State Veterans’ Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
