Obituary: Jean C. (Pearce) Bardos, 76, of Middletown

Jean worked as a bookkeeper for many companies in the Norwalk area. She enjoyed cooking, reading biographies and knitting.

MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Biega Funeral Home) Jean C. (Pearce) Bardos, 76, of Middletown passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

Jean was born on April 17, 1944 in Louisburg, North Carolina to the late John Hubert Pearce and Eleanor (Perry) Palumbo. She was a 1962 graduate of Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, Connecticut and worked as a bookkeeper for companies in the Norwalk area.

Jean enjoyed cooking, reading biographies, knitting, and tending to her houseplants.

She is survived by her three children: Sheri (Sesto) Mount and her husband Clyde of Norwalk, Connecticut, Tracy (Bardos) Vitti and her husband Anthony of Cary, North Carolina, and Louis P. Bardos and his wife Lula of Easton, Connecticut; six grandchildren (Ethan, Kevin & Ryan Mount, Tyler Vitti, and Louis T. & Olivia Bardos); two sisters Linda (Pearce) Florenza and her husband Rt. Reverend Rocco Florenza of Ansonia, Connecticut and Brenda Pearce of Satsuma, Florida, beloved cousin Amy Owen and her husband Berkley of Terryville, Connecticut, plus several nieces, nephews and cousins.
