Jerry J. Matus ”JJ”, 51, of Middletown, formerly of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly September 21, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Meriden on October 1, 1967, a son of Jerry and Cheryl (Loyd) Matuskiewicz of Wallingford.

Jerry’s career was a Sales Estimator/Project Manager Commercial Division at R & R Windows Contractors Inc. and recently of the Lockheed Window Corp. He was an avid saltwater fisherman and passionately loved the game of football and was a loyal Patriot’s fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Shelby Garrity and her husband, Ryan, Chloe Matus, and Hunter Matus; his brothers, Terry and Joseph Matuskiewicz and his wife, Kristina; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2019 directly at St. John Cemetery in Wallingford. There are no calling hours.
