Obituary: Joseph J. Krywinski, Jr., 68, of Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Biega Funeral Home): Joseph J. Krywinski, Jr., 68, of Middletown, husband of Kathy (Panzironi) Krywinski, died Monday December 7, 2020 at Middlesex Hospital.

He was born in Middletown, the son of the late Joseph J. and Violet “Vi” (Opalacz) Krywinski, Sr. Joe, better known as “Stick”, was the owner of Joseph Krywinski Painting in Middletown.

He was actively involved in several Xavier High School Alumni committees, member of the Polish Falcons, Polish Knights, and also a longtime setback and horseshoe player for the Polish National Home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Christopher Bellotti and his wife Jenny Bellotti of Texas and David Krywinski of Middletown; his grandchildren Clement Villar and his wife Nuri Villar and Hayden Bellotti; brother, Thomas Krywinski and his wife LuAnn of Trumbull; sister, Jane Morris and her husband Edward of Newport, RI; nieces, nephews, and several cousins.

His Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, December 14th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Middletown. Following the Service will be the Burial at Calvary Cemetery, in Middletown.

There are no calling hours. Due to COVID-19, Joe’s family requests that only family attend the Funeral Liturgy and be seated immediately upon arriving at the church. The burial will be extended to family and friends.

Stick's bigger than life, jokester and gregarious personality will be missed, but he left us with many wonderful memories.
