Obituary: Joseph Ross Nedobity, 35

It is with a heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to Joe Nedobity on Wednesday November 14, 2018. He was born December 4, 1982 in Middletown, the son of William Nedobity of Old Lyme and Cynthia (Richard) Singer of East Hampton.

Joe enjoyed making people laugh, whether they wanted to or not, with his sharp wit and ability to bring levity to any moment. He loyally loved his family and friends with all of his heart. We all take comfort in knowing that he will be lovingly welcomed by his grandparents, uncles, friends and his niece, Avery, at heaven’s door.

Joe leaves behind his parents, his brother, Jason Nedobity and his girlfriend, Alea and their daughter Natalie, all of Groton; his sister, Emily Singer of Brooklyn, NY; step siblings, Matthew, David, Mary, and Greg Singer; his best friend and love, Kasey Carpentier and son, Jackson Hill.

Joe invites family and friends to gather at VFW Post 5095, 20 North Maple St., East Hampton on Tuesday, November 20th, from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make time to help a friend in need.
