Our dearest Kevin Casserino-Samolis, passed away suddenly on December 2, 2016 at the age of 39. He is at peace with our Lord and now an angel watching over his family.
Kevin had a few great loves in his life, the most important being of his daughter Kayleigh Samolis, whom he loved more than anything in the world. He also loved the sports of fishing and football. Kevin was an ardent Giants football fan and loved watching his team face off against the Patriots whom his "Pops" Jeff favored.

The most darling to his heart was family. Kevin was compassionate, caring and loving individual, known for trying to keep the family united.
Kevin Casserino-Samolis leaves behind his loving daughter Kayleigh Samolis, his mother Carleen Casserino-Strang and her husband Jeff "Pops" Strang of Middletown, his father Richard Samolis, Sr. and his wife Sheila Samolis of East Haddam. Kevin also leaves his brothers Rick Samolis, Jr. and his wife Vicky, brother Joseph Samolis and his wife Katherine and their children Isabella and Landon. Kevin leaves behind many beloved extended family members and friends all over the state and country.

Kevin is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Carmelo and Audrey Casserino, paternal grandparents Raymond and JaneAnn Samolis and his dear friend Devin McCoy.
Kevin will be missed and will be forever in our hearts. Till we see you again, fish on my son!
Friends and family may call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown on Thursday, December 8, 2016, from 5 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016, at 10 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown. A private burial will take place after the church service.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made in Kevin's memory to an education fund set up for his cherished daughter, Kayleigh Samolis. Donations can be sent to Kayleigh’s Education Fund, care of Liberty Bank, 315 Main Street, Middletown CT 06457.
