Obituary: Linda “Linn” Mae (Petruzzello) Satagaj, 70, of Middletown

Linda “Linn” Mae (Petruzzello) Satagaj, 70, of Middletown, died Saturday March 18, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Salvatore “Pedro” and Edna (Mills) Petruzzello.

Linn worked as a paralegal for a local attorney and also as a florist for Waldbaums. She was a member of the Eagle’s Club and served as secretary for their Women’s Auxiliary. She loved arts and crafts, flowers and was a collector of lighthouses and bells. Linn loved to travel but her heart was captured by Cadillac Mountain in Maine.

She is survived by her life companion of 32 years, Joseph Ramsey, son Jerold Satagaj and his wife Karen of Southington, daughter Davynne Hines of Middletown, sister Patricia McDonald of Waterville, ME, three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hines, Joel Bergstrom, Erika Bergstrom, two great grandchildren, Logan and Serenity Bergstrom, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Bernard Satagaj, brother Kenneth Hobby and sister Pamela Stevens.

Linn’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Middlesex Hospital Emergency Room staff and the staff of Hartford Hospital for their care and compassion.
