Mike has been a Senior Project Manager at Cashin, Spinelli, and Ferretti in Avon for almost 17 years.

Prior to that, he worked at Fuss & O’Neill in Manchester.

Kind, intelligent, and humble, he was a real gentleman and an “engineer’s engineer.” Mike loved hiking and telling lame jokes.

He had no sense of rhythm and couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket, but he loved to sing to Lori. His favorite song was a two-liner he wrote: “I love my honey. She is so funny.”

The best part of his day was walking through the neighborhood after dinner, holding his honey’s hand and greeting any dogs they encountered. He loved children and especially adored being Grandpa Mike.

Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his sister Carolyn Fialkowski and her husband Jim of Chelmsford, Mass.; his brother John Anderson and his wife Karen Topham of Blaine, Washington; Lori’s children and their spouses, daughter Amie and James Jones of Providence, Rhode Island, and son Kurt and Stephanie Jagielow of Missoula, Montana; and grandson Daniel Jones.

He also leaves his niece Audra Anderson and three nephews, Brian and Chris Fialkowski and Garrett Anderson, as well as friend Brittany Helddon, along with her son Dan Landini and his family.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to Jamie’s Run for Connecticut Children’s online at www.jamiesrun.org or by mailing a check to: Jamie's Run Inc., 25 Berkeley Drive, Vernon, CT 06066-6321.
