Obituary: Paul A. Trepanier, 79, of Middletown
Paul worked at Northeast Utilities for 34 years. He was dedicated to his family and friends, and very involved in numerous local programs.
MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From From Doolittle Funeral Home) Paul A. Trepanier, 79, of Middletown (formerly of Cromwell) died surrounded by his family after a sudden battle with cancer on January 11, 2021. Born on August 2, 1941 in Skowhegan, Maine to Leo and Thelma (Foss) Trepanier.
Paul is survived by his brothers Oliver, Leo, and Arthur; his sister, Becky; his children and their spouses: Brett & Lynn Trepanier, Dori Halpin, Jill & Brian Church, Paula & Brad Sparks, and Richard & Kimberly McCormick; 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents and 6 brothers: Albert, Francis, Joseph, Herbert, and Peter Norman and Wilfred Trepanier.

Paul was dedicated to his family, friends, and in his earlier years to the Cromwell athletic programs. Paul retired from Northeast Utilities after 34 years of service. Following retirement, he was very involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren.
He was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Affairs and American Legion, and was very involved in the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1547 of Middletown. Paul will be missed by many family and friends and it is with heavy hearts that they announce his passing.

Graveside services will be held at the West Cemetery, Hillside Road, Cromwell, CT on Saturday January 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
Due to COVID, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1547, 605 Saybrook Road - Unit 2, Middletown, CT 06457.
