Obituary: Richard D. Halapin Jr., 47, of Middletown

Richard D. Halapin Jr., 47, of Middletown, previously of Shelton, passed away suddenly Saturday, February 3, 2018. Richard was born June 24, 1970 in Bridgeport, son of Richard Halapin Sr. and the late Susan (Dietz) Halapin.

Richard was a machinist by trade and enjoyed spending time with his family, working out, going to the beach, and helping people in any way he could.

In addition to his father, survivors include his children, Destiny Halapin and Dakota Saltus; two sisters, Heidi Salvati and Melissa Saad and his dear aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
