Obituary: Steven Ellam, 27, of Middletown
Steven had a love for music and his guitar. He taught himself how to play and enjoyed performing at local open mic nights.

Steven Ellam, 27, of Middletown, died Friday March 2, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital.
Steven had a love for music and his guitar. He taught himself how to play and enjoyed performing at local open mic nights. He had a great soul and loved his family very much. He was born on July 26, 1990 in Middletown, the son of Bruce and Maritsa (Espinosa) Ellam. Steven was currently employed with Illiano’s Pizzeria in Middletown.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Robert Ellam and his wife, Ali and niece Lilliana of California; sister, Ashley Chambrello and her husband, Patrick and nephew, Patrick, of Rocky Hill; paternal grandparents, Verna Ellam and the late Robert H. Ellam of Middletown; maternal grandparents, Carlos and Margarita Espinosa of Florida, also many extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday (March 7) at 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be private. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to: 1) Bridgeport Hospital Foundation (CT burn center family suite), also available online @ foundation.bridgeporthospital.org and click on links for burn unit family suite.
