William J. Kowalski, 76, of Middletown, beloved husband of Katherine (Perrault) Kowalski died Monday April 9, 2018, at Middlesex Heath Care.

Bill was born in Meriden, son of the late, Julius and Mary Kowalski. Prior to his retirement Bill worked as a chef for Connecticut Valley Hospital. He also served as sexton at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Middletown for many years.

Besides his wife, Kathy, Bill is survived by a son, William Kowalski of Middletown, two sisters, Patty Smith of Meriden, Gloria Coitrone of Wallingford, a brother, Richard Matarowski of Middletown, also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Daniel Kowalski.
