Officials Investigate Overnight Fire in Middletown
No injuries were reported in a fire that broke out early Sunday morning.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — No injuries were reported in an early Sunday morning at 14 Grover Place, according to fire officials. WTNH News 8 reports the fire could be suspicious.
Units were dispatched to the reported structure fire at about 1:23 a.m. Car 3 “called the working fire and transmitted a 2nd Alarm within minutes of arrival due to heavy fire in the attic and the close proximity of the neighboring houses,” according to the Middletown Professional Firefighters Local 1073 on Facebook.
The fire marshal along with the assistance of the state fire marshal are investigating the cause, officials said.
