The paddle & water chestnut pull on Sat. July 8, will launch at 9-11 a.m., not the previously scheduled 1-3 p.m. The purpose of the time change is to avoid the high winds that have interfered with our June efforts. The tide will be low, but rising. We need as many canoe and kayak paddlers as possible, since this could be our final effort for the season. Bags and gloves will be provided, but please bring (and wear) your own lifejacket. Our goal is to remove all plants from the 2 areas indicated by the arrows in the photo.
