Paper Shredding Event In Middletown

The city is hosting an event for residents to bring their sensitive documents for shredding. Read details here.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — (From City Hall): Middletown residents are invited to bring their sensitive documents for shredding on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the lower parking lot at Pat Kidney Field. The event is open to Middletown residents only. Limit of five boxes or bags per vehicle.

Residents are asked to only bring documents that contain sensitive information such as tax documents, credit card statements, medical records and other documents that contain private information. No junk mail, no school work, no documents from businesses.

Officials will also accept pre-shredded papers (since shredded papers cannot be recycled with the curbside recycling). All the paper from the event is recycled.
