Just a reminder that the Lower CT River Valley Council of Governments is holding a regional paper shredding event on Saturday, August 18th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at the Middlefield Community Center on 405 Main Street in Middlefield. The event is free to residents of the towns of Chester, Clinton, Cromwell, Deep River, Durham, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Killingworth, Lyme, Middlefield, Middletown, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland, and Westbrook.
Bring up to 5 boxes or bags of old personal papers, such as medical records, legal and financial documents and tax returns.
No junk mail, magazines, books, cards, envelopes, etc… Sensitive documents only
ID Required. No Businesses Allowed.
