Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Middletown
A section of the road is closed as police investigate the crash, according to officials.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle Tuesday night in Middletown, according to officials. The intersection of Newfield Street and Westfield Street is closed as police conduct an investigation, according to the City of Middletown Professional Firefighters Local 1073 union.
Officials are advising motorists to avoid the area.
There was no immediate word on the victim’s condition.
