Police ID Man Pulled From Bow Lane Quarry Waters
A 26-year-old Portland man succumbed to his injuries, Middletown Police said.

Middletown Police, along with South Fire District and Middletown Fire personnel, responded to the quarries at the end of Bow Lane on Wednesday, August 19, after receiving a 911 call about a man who jumped into the water and did not resurface.
All three of the departments dive teams assisted in the search. The man was unresponsive when pulled from the water by members of the South Fire District, according to Middletown Police Lt. Heather Desmond.

He was transported by ambulance to the local hospital and succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, August 20.
Police identified the victim as Andrew Frizzen, 26, of Portland.
