Police: Middletown Man Arrested for Misrepresenting Fake Drugs
Turns out the green leafy substance and rock-like substance what weren't you may suspect, according to police.

Police arrested a Middletown man who was allegedly selling fake drugs.
An officer noticed what may have been a hand to hand drug deal on April 1 at the corner of Liberty and Main streets. Police had gotten word that a man may be selling real and fake drugs in the area.
Officers stopped the man, identified as Rafael Cruz, 26. They removed a knife from him and found two bags of what appeared to be marijuana, according to police. Police also noticed a pill in a bag on the ground and four small bags that contained a round rock-like substance.

The pill turned out to be ibuprofen and the green substance and rocky substance tested negative for drugs, police said.
Cruz was charged with misrepresentation of a substance as a controlled substance, carry and sale of dangerous weapons and interfering with police.
