Residents said that around 9:30 p.m. they heard several loud bangs coming from the front o the house and then through two windows. They hit the ground and waited for police to secure the scene.
There have been ongoing issues between a resident of the house and his cousin Nick Saraceno, police said. The most recent was over a girl they both like.
A resident identified the man in the Lexus, Alfred Yelling, as the same man seen outside of the residence, police said.
Both men denied being part of the incident.
A stun gun was also found in the car, police said.
Officers determined that the impact at the windows came from a fixed object located in the vehicle.
Saraceno, 24, of Plainville and Yelling, 43, of New Britain were arrested and charged with weapons in vehicles, risk of injury to a child, second-degree criminal mischief, breach of peace and second-degree reckless endangerment.
