Police: Woman Bites End of Woman's Finger Off in Middletown
The victim suffered the gruesome injury during an argument.

A Middletown woman is facing charges after she allegedly bit the tip of another woman’s pinky finger off, according to police.
Veronica Hernandez, 30, of Daddario Road was arrested after she allegedly bit clean through another woman’s finger during an argument. Hernandez is the girlfriend of the victim’s ex-boyfriend.
The victim also suffered scratches to the face.

The victim will never have a nail on her pinky again, according to a police report.
Hernandez gave a similar account to police, but said she didn’t taste blood in her mouth and was not sure how the victim sustained the injury, according to police.

Hernandez was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and breach of peace. She was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
