As many of you are aware, Middletown Youth Services has spent the last several month recruiting teens, parents, educators, and youth serving professionals to participate in a qualitative research project aimed at assessing the needs and opportunities that have followed COVID. If a more complete write up of the project is helpful, you can find it HERE.
As we wrap up this phase of the project we plan to use the Feb GMCC meeting to both collect thoughts and ideas from the group and test out some of the findings. Our hope is that the information we gather around important topics such as support, connection, individual and collective wellness, and communication, will guide strategies moving forward and develop projects to help meet people's expressed needs.
We'll be joined by Woods Creative who have conducted 60+ interviews so far and are excited to test some of their findings with you all. That said, if you've participated in an individual interview this conversation will be different and we'd invite you to attend. If you haven't participated in an interview this will be a great way to get your voice included before it concludes.
