MIDDLETOWN, CT — This is definitely a “happy tail.” The Westfield Fire Department rescued a poor puppy who get her head stuck in a playscape tube during her first visit to the doggie play area at her condo complex, according to the Middletown Animal Control.

“Huge thanks to the Westfield Fire Dept for helping this sweet puppy last night! In her first visit to the doggie play area at her condo complex, she somehow managed to get her head stuck in one of the playscapes,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “She was hopelessly stuck and they needed to cut the structure to release her. Using power and hand tools with precision, she was safely released and VERY happy to be free! After a few cookies, she forgot all about her ordeal. Thank you Westfield Fire for always being willing to help with crazy Animal Control issues! We really appreciate you!”
