Readers' Choice: Best 'Staycation' in City

This week, were asking our loyal readers what's your favorite place (or places) in Middletown to take a day trip?

We're thinking of places where you can get away from the daily grind, relax, spend some quiet time and, maybe, take the kids.

Perhaps it's a combination of places, like a mom and daughter pedicures, lunch at the Green Room and a stroll across the grounds of the Wadsworth Mansion. Or, it's a quick and early breakfast at a diner for dad and son, then hitting the local fishing hole for a lazy day of casting and catching, followed up with fish and chips for dinner.

Or a gallery jaunt on a Sunday afternoon to see indoor and outdoor art.
