The restaurant has temporarily closed after a fire over the weekend.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A weekend fire has forced the temporary closure of the Bread & Water restaurant on Warwick Street in Middletown, but the owner plans on rebuilding and reopening in a couple of months, according to the Middletown Press.

The Middletown Press reports Saturday afternoon’s two-alarm fire began in the portion of the building that was once the site of the Pamecha Jail and traveled up to the apartment above the kitchen. No injuries were reported. (To sign up for Middletown breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
