Roast of Rosario Rizzo Oct. 9 to benefit Middlesex United Way

The Roast of Rosario Rizzo, a night of comedy and philanthropy to benefit Middlesex United Way, will be held Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Courtyard by Marriott Cromwell.

Retired from Pratt & Whitney, Rizzo is an Honorary Director of Middlesex United Way as well as a longtime supporter, volunteer and friend.

Proceeds from the event, including any donations that exceed the ticket price, will benefit the new Middlesex United Way Innovation Fund, which will be launched with Rizzo’s help the night of the Roast.

The Roast of Rosario Rizzo will feature remarks from David Durbin, Heather Summerer, Larry McHugh and Patti Anne Vassia, as well as Kevin Wilhelm, executive director of Middlesex United Way.

Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m. Dinner and remarks begin at 6:30 p.m.
