MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Rockfall Foundation recently visited Everyone Outside at Fire Ring Farm in Portland to observe the impact of a grant awarded for the Farm and Forest Camp Scholarships.

The grant is designed to provide financial support to enable children from Middlesex County to participate in "immersive environmental education."

The visit showcased a variety of activities at the camp, from hands-on sustainable farming practices to exploration of the local ecosystem. The program, designed to foster a deep connection with the natural environment, includes activities such as identifying native plants, engaging with farm animals, and learning about local wildlife.
