Sen. Murphy Aide To Run For Middletown Mayor

MIDDLETOWN, CT — U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy aide Ben Florsheim, 27, announced that he will run for mayor of Middletown.

So far six candidates have declared their intentions to run for the seat, according to the Middletown Press. Mayor Dan Drew announced he wouldn't run for another term.

Florsheim is from the Midwest and moved to Middletown in 2010 to attend Wesleyan University.
