Share Ideas On Equity During Free Event In Middletown on Saturday

MIDDLETOWN, CT –Middletown residents are invited to share ideas on how to make the city more sustainable, equitable and vibrant.

Sustainable CT is hosting a series of community action and leadership conferences around Connecticut starting in May.

The first conference will be held at the Free Center in Middletown, 52 Main St., on May 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The second conference will be held in Hartford on June 24.

The conference aims to inspire, support and encourage residents and community-based organizations to launch fundraising campaigns through the fast, flexible, and easy $1:$1 Community Match Fund Program.

Several panels during the conference in Middletown include What is the Community Match Fund? How does it work? From 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Let's Work on Your Ideas – Collaborative Fundraising/Project Planning from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

The event is free, but Registration is required to participate in the Sustainable CT conference.
